Fundraiser Policy
Raise money for your cause, one meal at a time.
Wild Pita partners with schools, sports teams, and community organizations to help them raise money through dine-in and online fundraiser events. When your supporters order from us during your scheduled fundraiser, we donate 15% of qualifying sales directly to your organization. There’s no minimum sales requirement â whatever your group raises, that’s what gets donated.Who We Partner With
We work with a wide range of community-based groups: K-12 schools and their parent organizations, university clubs and student groups, youth sports leagues, libraries, community centers, and local nonprofits focused on causes like food access, sustainability, and youth development. If your organization serves your community and isn’t sure it fits neatly into one of these categories, we still encourage you to apply â we consider every request individually. How to Apply
Submitting a fundraiser request is simple, and we don’t require a fixed lead time â reach out whenever you’re ready to start planning, and we’ll work with you to find a date that works for both your organization and our restaurant. Because we receive more requests than we’re able to accommodate, not every application is approved, but we do our best to say yes whenever we can, and we’ll follow up directly once we’ve reviewed your request. What Counts Toward Your Fundraiser
For an order to count toward your total, the person placing it needs to let our team know they’re supporting your fundraiser â either by mentioning it at checkout, showing a flyer (printed or on their phone), or using the ordering code we set up specifically for your event. Orders placed outside the scheduled time of your event, or through third-party delivery apps, aren’t included in your fundraiser total. Because there’s no minimum, every qualifying order â big or small â counts toward what your organization ultimately receives. What We’re Not Able to Support
Our fundraiser program is built around community impact, so we’re not able to support requests tied to individual causes such as scholarships, stipends, or personal medical expenses; for-profit businesses or ventures; religious organizations raising money specifically for religious activities; political campaigns or lobbying efforts; or individual travel, study, or research grants. Beyond these categories, we also reserve the right to decline requests that don’t align with the spirit of the program. Our Commitment to Fair Partnership
Wild Pita does not partner with organizations that discriminate against any person or group on the basis of age, political affiliation, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, or religious belief. What to Expect After Your Fundraiser
Your fundraiser doesn’t end the moment the last order comes in. Here’s what happens next, in three steps.- We tally results monthly, not event by event. Rather than processing each fundraiser separately, we close the books once a month. At the end of every calendar month, we total the results of every fundraiser that took place during that period, no matter what day your specific event fell on.
- Your check is mailed to the address on your W-9. Once your organization’s total is finalized as part of that month’s close, we issue a check for your donation and mail it to the address listed on the W-9 form your organization submitted when you applied.
- Timing depends on when your event happened. Because payouts run on a monthly cycle, an event held early in the month is still grouped with that month’s accounting â so it may take a bit longer to arrive than an event held near month-end. Either way, expect your check several weeks after your fundraiser, once that month’s accounting is complete.
